Gentle enough to use everyday, and it is effective against dandruff, cradle cap, dermatitis, and lice. Tea tree has anti-bacterial and healing properties, while French lavender is calming and soothes frazzled feelings and irritated skin and scalp. Anti-oxidant protection of vitamin E and evening primrose along with herbs of calendula and rosehips complete this fantastic product!

Concentrated biodegradable products: a little goes a long way. Meaningful recycle symbol: HDPE #2 is the easiest plastic for consumers to recycle . California Baby products are also free of gluten and casein. California Baby products do not contain Sulfates or DEA. California Baby® pioneered the use of plant derived glucosides (decyl glucoside and lauryl glucoside) which are non-invasive cleansing/bubbling agents that we use exclusively in our bubble baths and shampoo & body washes. Soapbark and yucca are added for extra bubbling power. Our glucosides are very gentle and are non-stripping of delicate membranes, naturally no tears, non-toxic and sustainably grown; they undergo rapid and complete biodegradation in the environment. California Baby does NOT add any colors, dyes or clear formula chemicals to our products; the color and texture can change slightly based on the time of year and the harvest conditions of the natural ingredients. California Baby uses extremely mild cleansing agents and does not need to add ‘numbing chemicals’ to make a product tear free.     I started to use this product in an effort to cut down on parabens and pthalates in my daughter's bath products. I was so happy with this product that I now give it as a gift to all new moms I know. First of all, the smell is wonderful. I am tempted to buy extra bottles and use this for myself. It's fresh, clean and the lavender definitely has a relaxing effect. It's not overly "babyish" like some of the commercial products that claim to have lavender in them. The smell is intense when you are in the bathroom with it, but it doesn't seem to cling to the child. She just smells clean after her bath, not like she was dipped in lavender.

    And most amazingly, when you rinse your child in the tub, you will be in shock at how clean the water looks. With the other commercial brands, after rinsing, the water always has a soapy film on it. When you use California baby, the water stays clear. It's incredible.

    It's natural, it's gentle and it smells great. What's not to love?

  2. Great for cradle cap!

    We used this on our son, now 5 months old, since he was 3months. He got cradle cap and since we have been using it regularly- It is almost gone! We had to use olive oil and a fine tooth comb to remove the scales the first few times but since we switched to this shampoo- we haven't had to. It smells good- not too much lavender! (Especially since we have a boy) and I love that it does not have harmful chemicals! We use a few of their products and we are very happy with them.
