Green Toys Inc. makes an awesome line of classic childrens toys constructed from recycled plastic and other environmentally friendly materials. This helps reduce fossil fuel use and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improving the overall health and happiness of the planet. All Green Toys products are 100% made in the USA. To be more specific, they are produced in California, a state known for strict toy safety and environmental laws. It's cool to buy USA, but also think about this: transportation is one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gasses. We all know driving less is good for mother nature, but did you ever think about how many miles a toy logs before it ends up in your local store? We use recycled milk containers as the main ingredient in creating our toys. Yes, the exact plastic milk jugs that you and your family drink from every day. When you finish your milk and toss the container in the recycling bin, these milk containers are collected at your curb by a local recycling company, who then sorts them from all the other types of plastic. Next, the milk containers are reprocessed into super clean fresh plastic. For you plastic geeks, the plastic material we use is called high-density polyethylene (or HDPE). This material is considered one of the safest, cleanest plastics around.

Our toys are truly local creations. Every step in the process, from milk container recycling to toy production to final assembly, occurs in California. Our raw materials and toys aren't shipped from overseas, which saves a lot of energy and reduces greenhouse gasses. It also guarantees your toys won't get seasick before they get to your home!

    LOVE this set!! It is durable and perfect for pretend play. My kids love playing with this set! Have had no problems with it - nice colors. My daughter sets up little tea parties for all her dolls. Definitely a good buy!

    My little boy loves this product :) He doesn't play tea in the traditional sense, but he loves drinking out of the little cups or pouring water out of the tea pot at bath time. My niece (about 12 months old) recently came over and spent over an hour playing with the set. Overall, it was a great buy.

    The pieces are really well made and sturdy and I love that it is made in the USA, especially since the kids seem to gnaw on the spoons.

    I have three kids, my oldest is 11. He got a kitchen & dish set when he was 2, so I have 9 years experience with plastic toy dishes, lol. The first set was okay, but has become brittle over time.

    But this set? Wow. It feels good, feels like it will last forever. My 2 year old absolutely loves it, she spent all of Christmas morning making tea for us. And two months later, she still does. My 6 year old likes it too, and when a friend's little one bent a spoon all the way over, it bent back without leaving a stress mark in the plastic-- you can't tell which one was bent.

    The packaging was great, easy to open, and so nice to not have a billion zip ties to cut. That's such a pain when you have an excited toddler. I totally recommend this set, and will probably be sending it to my nieces & nephews too.
